From 0-2 down to the 2-2 bracket, MOUZ are still fighting here at the BLAST.tv austin Major.
Unfortunately, that does mean that another team has left us, Aurora have been eliminated as a result of their 2-1 loss to the German organisation.
Let's take a look at how it happened.
Starting out on MOUZ's map pick of Train, it was Aurora who had the lead at the half thanks to an 8-4 CT side. Wicadia and XANTARES starred to give Aurora the lead, they combined for 22 kills to put MOUZ on the back foot.
MOUZ soon leveled the score, though, and even went beyond that as a six round winning streak to open up their own CT side put them 10-8 up.
Aurora managed to get a couple of rounds to get slightly back into it, but MOUZ's CT side proved to just be too strong, Brollan picked up 13 kills in the second half to take his tally to 19 and secure the win at 13-10.
Inferno was close throughout, the first half ended 6-6 as the two teams equally matched firepower led to rounds being traded back and forth.
MOUZ's economic advantage then gave them the lead in the second half, soon finding themselves with a 9-7 lead.
However, the game grew closer again, and with MOUZ 10-8 up, Wicadia pulled off a moment of magic to fire Aurora into overdrive.
A play that would spark Aurora into returning to the form they've displayed all year, they lost just one round in the remainder of the map, eventually sending us to a third with a 13-11 scoreline.
Following two close maps of CS, we expected a close third map as both teams fought for their place in the Major.
The first half delivered on that promise, we went into the break with the scores level at 6-6 as both teams were throwing everything they had at the rounds in order to keep their Major dreams alive.
Heading into the second half, MOUZ took control of the map in a big way. Eventually wrapping it up 13-6, they didn't even give Aurora a chance as they put up a flawless CT side thanks to 11 CT side kills from torzsi.
